Community
These classes are for EVERY BODY. We will explore together accessible adaptations and variations of the classical yoga poses and the classes will be kept small and led at an inclusive pace. The goal of our Yoga for EVERY BODY classes, is to create accessible, non-competitive, safe, welcoming, online, community classes for all body types. The ethos of these classes is that we practice together and take EVERY BODY in the group into consideration. We have a lovely community of folks practicing together with all sorts of different life experiences, body types, ages and abilities. In class you will be made to feel welcome and will be carefully encouraged by the teacher to practice at your own pace and in the way that feels comfortable
Accessibility
Class numbers are quite small. If our classes are not accessible to you for any reason, or if you are you afraid to come, worried that you might not be welcome, or might not be able to keep up, please don’t just not come. Meet Janice Kate (they/them) - your yoga for EVERY BODY teacher
Hi I’m Janice (they/them) a body positive, fat friendly yoga teacher
I have over 30 years of yoga experience in Classical Hatha Yoga in the Sivananda tradition and have been teaching for 20 years. More recently in my own practice I have been exploring yoga for deep rest and healing, namely restorative yoga, and accessible yoga, which have had a huge influence on my offerings as well.
