Online live yoga classes

In these mixed ability group classes we will explore a classical sequence of yoga postures, breathing exercises and relaxation techniques. These classes are set at a slightly stronger, more demanding pace than the Body Positive and Fat Positive Classes, so for fat folks, folks in diverse bodies, straight sized folks who want a stronger practice this is the class for you. Your teacher is fat, 50, living with a disability and very welcoming! The goal of our Yoga for EVERY BODY classes, is to create accessible, non-competitive, safe, welcoming, online, community classes for all body types. EVERY BODY is welcome.


Online live yoga classes

These fat positive sessions are for folks with fat bodies only.

They are a safe space to explore how classical hatha yoga works for your body, and to learn comfortable adaptations of poses, in a friendly, warm, welcoming, supportive community. These classes will be taught at a welcoming, gentle and introductory pace with a fat yoga teacher


In-Person and Online live yoga classes

These Body Positive Yoga classes are for anyone who feels more comfortable in body diverse spaces and who prefer their yoga classes set at a gentler pace. These classes are especially welcoming for those of us who need a slower practice free from pressure and intensity. We will explore together accessible adaptations and variations of the classical yoga poses to suit your body. Everyone is welcome


Online live classes

Breathing (pranayama), Meditation, and Deep Guided Relaxation. These sessions will mainly offer either a Pranayama practice (yogic breathing) or meditation practice focus. Sometimes a deep relaxation practice or yoga nidra will be offered. You can also enjoy some free recorded sessions and a short tuition video for the pranayama exercises explore here.

Online live yoga classes

These still and restful classes are inspired by Restorative Yoga and SIvananda Yoga. We will loosely follow elements of the Sivananda sequence, but postures will be explored with lots of supportive cushioning so they can be held effortlessly encouraging a natural drop into deep relaxation

What’s the difference?

What is the difference between Body Positive Classes and Fat Positive Classes?

The pace and content will be pretty much the same, the only difference is anyone who wants a gentler practice is welcome to the Body Positive Classes whilst the Fat Positive classes are for Fat Folks only

What is the difference between Body Positive Classes and EVERY BODY Classes?

The EVERY BODY classes are very friendly and welcoming although the pace is set slightly stronger, and we will explore more poses and stronger variations of poses. The Body Positive classes are gentle, soft and introductory


Bitesized Classes

You will see the term ‘Bitesized’ pop up on our timetable this is referring to our shorter 15, 30, and 45 minute sessions. Once upon a time yoga classes were long and slow 90 minute sessions, but we’ve just lived through a pandemic and our bodies and minds have experienced trauma and stress. I have found that many students, especially vulnerable students, those with fatigue or chronic pain can find just the thought of 60 - 90 minutes of movement completely overwhelming. These shorter sessions are an opportunity for gentle movement in bitesized and completely manageable chunks of time, both mentally and physically. Also great for when we have less time but still want to practice. Please join us.
